On-boarding Receptionist - Lagos

About Us :
We are a new start-up company in the logistics market in Nigeria committed to offering online, reliable and secure parcel shipping services within large metropolitan areas. Operations aim to start in Lagos by 2Q 2019.
Who You Are :
You are an excellent verbal communicator, able to make a good first impression on people. Active listener and customer centric. A front-liner with professional appearance and attitude. Highly organise with some multitasking capabilities, able to handle multiple responsibilities.
What You’ll Do :
- Answer telephone, screen and direct calls
- Take and relay messages
- Provide information to callers
- Welcome and direct persons to correct destination within the company
- Deal with queries from public and customers
- Ensure knowledge of staff movement in and out of organisation
- Monitors visitors access and maintain security awareness
- Provide general administrative and clerical support
- Receive and sort mail and deliveries
- Schedule and maintain appointment diary where required
- Organise conference and training room bookings
- Tidy and maintain the reception area
What You’ll Bring :
- BA degree in Social Sciences or equivalent practical experience
- 1+ years of experience administrative work
- Strong understanding and experience of customer service
- Ability to take initiative and be flexible in a constantly-changing work environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft suites
